Ms. Williams shows two pictures.

The first shows a room with three windows. One woman asks: "Can you open a window?"

Chapter 2 : 재킷과 셔츠 비교 / Comparing the Jacket and the Shirt

Chapter 3 : 명확할 때 the를 씁니다 / We Say The When It's Clear


Ms. Williams writes: "We say the... when it is clear which thing or person we mean."

Carlos visited my new apartment today.

I noticed how naturally I now use the for things Carlos and I both understand, my apartment's rooms, and a for general, unspecified things.
